I have a rescued dog named Charlie who I love to spend my time with. I like to think he rescued me a little too!
I love to travel, my most recent trip was to Thailand.

About Me

I am a pediatrician taking some time off work, and would love to continue to work with youth and education. Prior to medical school I majored in Spanish and Children's Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.

Experience

I have tutored and been involved in education for several years. As an undergraduate student I was part of a tutoring program for elementary, middle, and high school students. In medical school I was a mentor for youth interested in health science. After completing my pediatric residency I was a chief resident. As chief resident, it was my job to create curriculum for and teach the doctors in my program.

Approach

Having worked with students at a variety of levels of education with different skills, I do my best to find what method works for the student. I strive to make learning fun and applicable to students' interests.
