About Me
I am currently a Senior at UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Nursing. When I graduate I hope to work at one of my parent's hospitals to pay loans and save for graduate school to get my MSN. My ultimate goal is to become an APRN in my field of choosing.
Experience
During my Senior year of high school I tutored at Kumon for Math and Reading. The grade levels varied from K-12 and I was also expected to organize all of the student's materials, input grades, and communicate with parents on the progress of their children. I also volunteered during my Sophomore year of college at Culbreth Middle School which made use of the AVID tutoring program.
Approach
I excelled in academics during my high school years but after arriving in college I struggled to understand what study methods work best for me for the standards given to me by the university. After learning from my mistakes I learned the best study methods for me and was able to improve my grades and get accepted into UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Nursing. I think that because of my initial struggle I can empathize with students on a more related level while also sharing the lessons I learned.

Nursing
Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
At first I struggled in this class and eeked by with a C+. After this I changed my study habits and improved that grade to a B+ when I retook it over the summer. I then took a similar courses in the EXSS department in Anatomy and Physiology and got an A- and A respectively.
Anatomy Physiology II Tutoring
Anatomy and Physiology 2 was a required course for UNC-Ch's SON and I received a B+ in the class. This class builds upon Anatomy and Physiology 1 in greater detail. This was when I changed my study habits and my grades improved vastly and made this class much more manageable, which is necessary because the material studied is more complex than that of Anatomy and Physiology 2
Biology Advance Tutoring
During my Freshman year of high school I scored a 98 on the Biology EOC. My senior year I took AP Biology and earned an A+ and a 3 on the AP Bio exam, earning me credit for General Biology 1.

Microbiology Tutoring
This course was a requirement for UNC-CH's SON. It is known for being an extremely difficult course due to the depth of the material taught and is a benchmark course in the application to the SON. However, I made a B+ and the material and study habits formed during this course immensely helps during my time in the SON
Nursing Tutoring
I am currently in my first semester of nursing at UNC. While I may not be an expert in all of the areas of teaching, I can offer advice and counsel for those who are interested in becoming a nurse and those applying to various schools.

Subjects include biology, AP biology, earth science and AP environmental science, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Pathophysiology. Most of the sciences in my expertise pertain to human health and the body.
