I volunteer as a tutor at a neighborhood house one day a week -- it's a way of giving back.
About Me
I teach writing, Spanish, ELA, and SAT and ACT verbal prep. I am an excellent tutor and believe in imparting lessons in a fun and supportive manner.
I studied at Skidmore College, and have worked at the New York Times, and as a speechwriter for the Mexican Government. I have tutored many students over the past ten years.
Experience
I've been tutoring for ten years and have taught people from six years old to middle-aged adults.
Approach
I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment for my students. I encourage them to be the best they can be. My lessons are fun -- they don't feel like work although I do impart rigorous learning.
