Fun Facts
I was a performing arts concentration in high school! I love to sing and won many awards. I’m on older sister to my 19 year old brother. I love math & currently am an elementary ed major.
About Me
I’m currently an elementary ed major at FIU. I am a junior and I hope to go to graduate school.
Experience
I tutored someone in intermediate college level algebra resulting in them passing the course. I also tutored at the elementary school level for a short period.
Approach
When I was in elementary school I hated writing and math until I had one amazing teacher. She gave us ways of remembering things that I still find useful to this day. I hope to become that teacher to my future students. I believe the use of song is a perfect and familiar approach to becoming comfortable with unfamiliar topics and more complex ideas.

I took 3 algebra courses and tested out of all of them for college. I have always had good grades in math and find algebra to be my forte
Math Tutoring
Won multiple singing competitions and have a passion for music. I went to coral reef and I was in their top choir program. My senior year I went on to direct and coordinate our entire program.
