Fun Facts

I am passionate about multiple things but there are a few that really stand out. I love Disney and anything that has to do with it. I enjoy traveling and although it is recent that I have really been able to start traveling, I have already been to Italy, Chicago and Canada.I also enjoy crafting, especially with my cousin who is 6.

About Me

I am 21 years old and have an AA in pre-nursing but have always wanted to be a teacher. So decided to transfer to Florida International University and pursue my Bachelors in Elementary Education.My ultimate goal is to hopefully become a Principle of an elementary school.

Experience

I tutor my neighbor every week but I want to be able to impact more lives of students that need help. I have my substitute teacher certification but have not applied to be one yet. I am missing some supervisor references.

Approach

Working with my neighbors daughter who has difficulty learning things at a fast pace i learned that repetition, positive encouragement and persistence work very well. As a tutor I am there to help the child succeed and will get to know the student and use a tutoring style specific to their needs.
