Fun Facts
I love to cook and bake so often times you will find me in the kitchen. I am the oldest of four children so I am used to caring and those who are younger than me. Sports have also been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing soccer with my siblings and dad and watching college football on Saturdays.
About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of Arizona studying Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. I am also acquiring a minor in French. I hope to go to medical school after graduating. My goal is to become a pediatric neurologist or an OB/GYN and work with WHO.
Experience
All of my experience has been with children. I have been a volunteer tutor and a paid tutor, both with elementary schoolers. I have been a playroom coach. In this job I watched over and played with children 6 months to 13 years old while their parents worked or had some time for themselves. Most recently, I have been a Home Health Aide. I worked with a family with four children, two of which had developmental disabilities. I love children and I really want to see them succeed!
Approach
I have never really struggled in school so I was always the one who helped out my classmates. As I became older, the desire to help those around me grew which is why I volunteered as a tutor and then became a paid tutor. To my sessions, I hope to bring happiness and encouragement and hopefully this will help the students either develop or continue a love of learning.

Pre-Neuroscience and Cognitive Science
French Tutoring
I have taken French for 6 and a half years and am continuing in getting a minor in French. I have gotten all A's and B's in my classes.
History Tutoring
I have taken multiple courses in World History and US History, in which I have received all A's and B's. History is my favorite subject so I am always wanting to learn more. Hopefully, I can pass on that love of learning or at least help students better their grade.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
Reading Comprehension has always been easy for me so I was the person that my peers came to for help. I have had a lot of experience in helping others when it comes to school.
English Tutoring
I volunteered in a elementary school for a year. During this year, I would take out the students who needed the extra help in reading, reading comprehension, and word study. This really helped me in understanding how young children think, how to address their difficulties, and how to better their skills.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have always excelled in math, even from a young age. I tutored an Elementary schooler in Math for a year which covered a range of topics from long division to reasoning skills. I also have three younger siblings so I am aware of the new methods that they are teaching.
Social Studies Tutoring
Social studies has been my favorite subject since the beginning. I have always had a fascination with the subject so I am still continuing my learning in the subject and I would like to encourage that fascination in younger students.
