Fun Facts
I grew up in Florida, and my family now lives in Texas— but now I'm living in New York City! I love to explore new places and am always wanting to learn more about my surroundings. I love animals, and also work as a dog walker! This gives me the opportunity to explore and spend time with animals at the same time! I find it so relaxing to do this.
About Me
I am a sophomore at Hunter College. I'm majoring in Psychology and minoring in Cultural Anthropology while pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology in graduate school.
In high school, I took honors and AP classes, as well as graduating with a diploma from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
Experience
In high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and tutored students throughout the week after school. I focused on writing, general english, and even literature analysis.
Approach
I find it important to bring positivity and encouragement into my tutoring. No question is a bad question; questions are a necessity for understanding and learning. Integrating the learning of good study habits with the content being studied will also help the student by giving them valuable skills throughout their academic career.
I will always encourage and have a positive attitude in my tutoring, and help the students to the best of my abilities while keeping in mind their individual needs.

English Tutoring
I took AP and IB (collegiate) level English classes all throughout high school. In each of these tests I passed with some of the highest marks, and would be able to recognize the content and teach areas of literature analysis and language overall.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I have helped other students with homework all throughout high school through my school's National Honor Society tutoring program. I'm able to assist students in better study habits as we review the homework to gain a better grasp on the studied concepts.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I took AP and IB (collegiate) level English classes all throughout high school. I worked on literature analysis throughout these class, and can help with in-depth comprehension to better understand the meaning of the text.
