I'm half English and half Australian, which gives me an unusual accent! I recently married an Ohio girl and am enjoying our new home in Columbus. In my spare time, I love playing guitar, kicking a soccer ball, and making lattes on our espresso machine.

About Me

I graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Economics and Social Sciences, being placed on the Dean's List of Excellence. I worked for Australia's biggest bank, the Commonwealth Bank, for two years, before realising my passion was for people - for teaching and for pastoring. I've since taught high school English at a top Sydney coaching centre, gained a 4 year Masters' equivalent in Divinity, have been pastoring a culturally diverse church, and now teach ESL here in Columbus.

I love the English language, and have a passion for helping people improve their English. In Sydney, I taught Middle-school English part-time at a high-performing columbus">tutoring college for two years. I've also taught English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) both in Sydney and now here in Columbus - right now I teach a weekly ESL class at a Community Centre. I have both a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences (with 1st Class Honours) and a 4 year Master's equivalent in Theology. Both degrees required me to write a lot of essays and lengthy dissertations, so I can help you with those too, no matter what subject you're studying.

I care about achieving the results that you want. That means if you want to pass a certain exam, or achieve certain marks, I will look carefully into what's required and columbus">tutor you for that result. If you want you (or your child) to just enjoy English and foster a passion for it, rather than a loathing for it (!), I can certainly columbus">tutor you for that result too.
