Hello all, my name is Melanie. I just recently moved to Texas from washington/seattle">Seattle, Washington. Although, I am not new to Texas,I was born and raised,my husband is an active member of the United States Army currently serving in Iraq. So,moving from state to state has been a fun adventure. About Me

I am a student currently attending San Antonio College. I am working on my Associate's of Arts in Teaching Elementary level students. I plan to transfer in the fall next year to a University to finish my credentials depending on our status in the military.

I have about ten years of experience working in the Early Childhood Development field. I have worked at various locations teaching and assisting children ages three to eleven. I recently worked for N.I.S.D as an Instructional Assistant for at-risk Elementary students.I absolutely love teaching children all subjects and look forward to meeting new students very soon enrolled in Frog Tutoring. Note to parents, I do not text so it is best to contact through a phone call or an e-mail,I constantly check my mail.

I have always had aspirations of being a teacher since I was a child. I remember picking up writing skills,vocabulary,reading,and grammar as early as first grade due to my parents positive reinforcement. As a tutor I have great patience and like to visualize a variety of different ways to creatively teach a subject that a student may struggle with.I believe learning can be fun and enhancing as long as you stay consistent and provide the appropriate level of communication with each student.
