I must say, one of my most dominant traits, is my love for animals! Since I was a young girl, my love for animals has always been a huge part of my life. They are a mild form of therapy when life happens! I also enjoy meeting new people, from all kinds of walks of life. Meeting new people, keeps my life interesting. These are just a couple of fun facts!

About Me

A little bit about me… As I mentioned above, I have a passion for animals. However, I also have a HUGE passion for helping others. I spend a lot of my time volunteering for Hospice, and at my church. I also love giving my time to tutor others. It’s an extremely gratifying job. It’s still hard to call tutoring a job… I just love it so much (I have done it for free)!

I have a few years of experience tutoring. While earning my BA at UTSA, I was a Supplemental Instructor. I assisted the professor with facilitating the students learning by holding outside study groups 3 times a week. I also have tutored with other providers such a ClubZ, Academics Plus, and A+ Markem!. My duties mainly consisted of one-on-one in home tutoring.

As in any learning environment, your approach to tutoring can make or break the deal. When I sit down with my students, the first thing I ask them is what ways they learn best. For example, if they prefer hands on, visuals, or mock tests. In a case where they do not know, I quickly find what best suits there learning environment.
