I am very flexible and enjoy just about any activity. I like being outside and around people. I like most sports games and helping others out. I enjoy church and getting to know new people.

About Me

Originally from Idaho, I attended the berkeley">University of California at Berkeley and studied Chemical Engineering. I've played ice hockey for over 20 years, enjoy hiking, and traveling everywhere. I have lived in Arizona for 4 out of the past 5 years.

Experience

I haven't had much recent experience tutoring people in school, but I tutor people in my work every single day. I was a valedictorian, math student of the year, honor society student, scholastic team captain, and captain of the debate team.

Approach

I find that listening to how the student portrays the problem is how you can identify the best possible way for him or her to figure out how to solve it in their own method. I do have fun ways of looking at each problem from different angles that definitely can help out. As a tutor, I try to understand a person's context to understand how he or she can best approach each individual problem confidently and accurately.
