Fun Facts

Born and raised in Houston Texas, I am a diehard Houston Rockets fan. I love professional basketball and watch it at every opportunity I get. I am a movie lover ranging from laugh out loud comedies to intense dramas. I enjoy travel and learning about other cultures which is why I spent a semester studying abroad in Spain. I am an extrovert who loves to meet new people and develop relationships whether in line at Starbucks or in my philosophy class.

About Me

I am a senior Finance major at TCU with minors in Accounting and Spanish. I have been on the Dean's List every year since my first semester on campus. Additionally, I am a part of the honors business program the Neeley Fellows which has provided me with professional development and leadership opportunity. I am planning to work in the financial consulting field after college in the DFW area.

Experience

As a member of the Neeley Fellows program, I have had the opportunity to learn from MBA level faculty while participating in professional and leadership development workshops and experiences. I have served as a TCU orientation leader, guiding incoming students through the orientation process, and as a Frog Camp facilitator, leading a small group of incoming students through a week long bonding experience. I also am a TCU designated tour guide and love showing my school to high school students.

Approach

I enjoy teaching as an opportunity to help others learn new and exciting material. I believe in being passionate and knowledgeable about the subject you teach to truly inspire your student. I have had experiences teaching younger friends in different classes and I always take a patient and encouraging approach. I want each person to feel valued as they learn at their own speed while I am a resource and guide throughout the process.
