Fun Facts
One passion about me is that I love to swim I always try to find the space to go and enjoy the moment, also I love kickboxing so everyday I go to my gym and workout for 30 minutes, I believe is an amazing therapy for stress. I want to learn more languages and know amazing places.
About Me
I am Linda from Colombia I'm a bilingual teacher I got my bachelor degree in Bogota, at El Bosque university, I came to the United States to improve English. I hope to sing up in Portland University to do my master in Spanish for foreigners.
Experience
While I was studying in Colombia I had the opportunity to work at the same time. I worked with kinder garden students for two years. after that I work with elementary students for 3 years and also I taught science to second graders students for a year.
another amazing experience was in Turkey I taught Spanish and English for grownups for a year. I feel passion about my profession and I want to do this for a long time.
Approach
In my opinion I think that each person has a way of learning. children learn through experimentation, colors and dynamic activities. In the case of adolescents and adults, the best focus is on the topics that are used during the class. When they are interesting subjects or with specific focuses, learning can be more significant.

I got my bachelor degree as a bilingual teacher I learned Spanish grammar, analysis of the speech and sociolinguistics. I taught conversational Spanish as second language for one year with Turkish and English Population. also I created a project of exchanging basic information between kids from Colombia and kids from Turkey.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
Back in Colombia I got my bachelor degree as a bilingual teacher, part of my subjects were reading comprehension in Spanish and English also, British literacy and composition. I also go through academic writing. I was a teacher in a private school and my goal was that student will be able to read a book every three months with a meaningful project.
English Tutoring
I got my bachelor degree as a bilingual teacher I learned English form level 1 to 6, linguistics, language acquisition and learning, content-based instruction and English conversational club. those subjects allow me to learned how to start and create appropriate bases for a second language. I taught English in kinder garden for two years and there years in elementary school third grade and fifth grade.
