Fun Facts
I am a huge dog person! I just absolutely love them and I have one Chihuahua- Yorkie puppy! I enjoy working out, especial through Barre and SoulCycling classes but I most definitely enjoy getting my exercise walking and exploring the different trails of different parks! My favorite pass time is reading Celebrity Autobiographies- I find them utterly fascinating!
About Me
I graduated from the University of Texas and attended medical school for 2 years before I realized education and shaping young minds is my true passion.
Experience
I have tutored students as well as peers through every stage of my life: middle school, high school, college and medical school. However, I have only been tutoring on a professional level for the last year and 3 months. I have and continue to teach students of all ages in a wide range of subjects which include Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Calculus 1&2, chemistry, physics, biology and general science. I have recently branched out to english, where I focus on grammar, punctuation and vocabulary.
Approach
I struggle with ADHD and anxiety. This made learning in a traditional setting a huge challenge throughout life. Because I know the struggles of unconventional learning, I take it upon myself to learn how my students prefer to process information and learn. I implement their style of learning into how I educate them based on their learning differences. I aim to bring individualistic teaching to my students!
