Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I like to study human behavior and I am pretty good at it. Of course, I am not always right, but I can pick up cues from the person's body language about how are they feeling. Pretty amazing, right? Turns out this skill is called the "people skill" in the real world and has a lot of practical uses. A pretty cool thing to have up your sleeve!
About Me
I am a junior, pursuing astronomy at the University of Arizona. Right now I am at the point in life where you can see multiple paths to traverse on, but you don't know which one to walk on. It's fine and exciting to explore different opportunities and see where it leads me to.
Experience
I have been appointed as a teaching assistant in the mathematics department this past semester. I helped the professor and the students in understanding the multi-variable calculus topics and methods.
Approach
I don't have a conventional tutoring approach. My tutoring style depends on the person I am tutoring. If the person is more interested in the problem than the concept behind it (although understanding the concept is much cooler and worthy), I will help them to solve the problem. If the person wants to know more about the concept. I will make the session interesting by drawing in stories from history (related to that concept). But, I don't believe in spoon-feeding the answers.
