About Me
I have graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently attending Dallas Baptist University as a Graduate of English as Second Language in Reading. I have been teaching children for over 10 years. I also work to help each student succeed through individualized support. Plus, I use effective and efficient methods of teaching while focusing on the individual needs of each student.
Experience
Teaching young minds is a task that cannot be taken lightly. It is full of challenges, frustrations, and responsibilities. However, it is a task that is also full of excitement, wonder, and joy. I strongly believe that all children are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation and direction from their teachers. As a teacher, I need to aware of learning, motivation, behavior, and development theories in order to relate to my students and push them to reach their full potential.

English Tutoring
The goal of the English class, through the use of beautiful texts, is to gain an understanding of human nature. It also helps us become accustomed to express beautifully, either orally or in writing, ideas and sentiments which are accurate and personal.
The goal of the English class is not to form scholars or specialists, but to acquire some mastery of our own tongue.
ESL Tutoring
My teaching approach in ESL is to guide my students through the process of English language socialization while addressing the above theoretical considerations. In my classroom, I address these theoretical concerns in the following ways: Develop the learner’s preexisting knowledge I begin with the belief that all of my students come into the classroom with the preexisting knowledge that contributes to the learning process, whether this is linguistic or lived experiences. I make an attempt to discover and exploit this knowledge from the outset by surveying my students’ linguistic knowledge and personal experiences. Then I encourage my students to capitalize on their strengths and experiences in order to develop their English abilities. For example, I realize that while most East-Asian students have a high degree of knowledge of English grammar, many lack conversational fluency; therefore, I tend to focus less on grammatical aspects of English with these students and spend more time developing communicative abilities.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
Reading is to connect the ideas on the page to what you already know. If you don't know anything about a subject, then pouring words of text into your mind is like pouring water into your hand. Having excellent reading comprehension skills is crucial. It increases the enjoyment and effectiveness of reading and helps not only academically, but professionally, and in a person's personal life.
