About Me
I am currently in my 11th year of teaching high school level math. I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Math Models and Applications, Algebraic Reasoning, and College Prep Math. I enjoy sharing my love of math and watching the aha moment when a student finally gets the material.
Experience
Through teaching I have conducted tutorials for students on a daily basis or as needed. I have also private’s tutored for both middle school and elementary school students
Approach
My approach to tutoring is to work with the weakness to improve them and build on the student's strengths. I encourage my students to do their best and let the see that it's okay to make mistakes, Mistakes are where learning occurs.

Algebra Tutoring
I have taught algebra 1 for the past 3 years of my teaching career. My STAAR passing averages have increase from 88%, 91%, and last year 92%
Algebra II Tutoring
I have taught algebra 2 for 1 year in my teaching career. I tutored a student for 1 year outside of teaching it.
Geometry Tutoring
I have taught 2 years of geometry. I have built activities and lessons to help students be successful with all of the vocabulary and applications of the math.
Math Tutoring
I am well versed in the math curriculum of high school to help students meet expectations and then take the next step towards exceeding.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Having taught algebra 1 and higher for the past 7 years, I know what pre algebra skills are required for a student to be successful.
Math Advance Tutoring
As a high school teacher, I can challenge students to expand knowledge beyond what is expected at the middle school level.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have tutored an 8th student with general 8th grade math curriculum to help them be successful on their state test and improve their understanding of the material being presented in class.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have tutored both a 2nd grader and 3rd grader on math facts to help improve the math facts and fluency. I have taught them tricks and memorization tools. I like to make math a game and find joy in learning.
