Fun Facts
My favorite movie of all time is Interstellar. Ever since I was 5, I remember being fascinated by what's beyond us. The idea of the cosmos has always fascinated me.
I taught myself piano when I was 14. I cannot read music, but I sure can play it by ear! It can be quite a challenge but helps me connect to music in an intuitive way. I also have learned Indian Classical Music.
I am the oldest and only girl out of three.
About Me
I just graduated with my undergraduate degree in Materials Science Engineering and will be continuing my Ph.D. in the respective field. My values lie in the greater good for the environment and humanity.
I love spending time with my dog, my family and friends. I love all types of music which include Bollywood, Reggaeton and Afrobeats.
Experience
In high school, I tried my hardest to stay involved. I was a member of the National Honor Society which helped me get involved in community services such as the Burrito Project SLC and tutoring other students. I have been involved with research for five years at the University of Utah with emphasis in thin films and semiconductors.
Approach
Despite being a bright and hardworking student, I had always struggled in math. I have up very easily. It wasn't until my dad, a mathematician, told me something very motivating. He told me that there isn't a single thing I couldn't do if I put my heart into it. therefore, I started spending hours studying and finally being successful in math. It made me realize that I want to help other students see the light within themselves and realize they can do anything they put their minds to.

Materials Science Engineering
Middle School Math Tutoring
I received A's in middle school math. It was an introduction to precalculus which helped me when I started precalculus in high school.
Spanish Tutoring
I received A's in Spanish as it was an elective for middle school. This class highlighted basic conjugation and phrases in Spanish.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I excelled very highly in elementary math receiving all A's. Elementary math is what students build on to get to higher math studies. I did very well, thus did well in my future math studies as well.
Social Studies Tutoring
I received an A in elementary social studies as it was very basic knowledge about the US and World History.
ACT English Tutoring
For the ACT English section, I received a score of 31.
ACT Reading Tutoring
For the ACT Reading section, I received a score of 30.
Conversational Hindi Tutoring
I grew up learning English and Hindi simultaneously. I am very fluent in speaking Hindi, however, I cannot read Hindi.
Algebra Tutoring
I was taught algebra at the beginning of high school. I passed with A's and B's.
AP English Tutoring
I was in a combined IB/AP English class. Though I did not take the AP Lang exam as an IB student, I did pass with A's and passed the IB English exam.
AP History Tutoring
I passed AP US History with A's and passed the AP exam.
Biology Tutoring
I have taken 3 years of AP and IB biology in high school increasing rigor each year. I received A's and B's. I also passed the IB Biology Exam.
