Fun Facts
One passion of mine is that I love to help people. I like to put myself in uncomfortable situations to allow me to grow. I find that I can relate to people more because I have experienced a lot. I love to travel and see the world. I'm pretty goofy.
About Me
I am a senior Earth System Science major at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I am an honor scholar and receiving a second bachelors degree. The first degree I received a Bachelor's of Science, with a major in biology with a minor in chemistry. After I receive my second bachelors, I plan to receive my masters in Earth System Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. My ultimate goal is to become a meteorologist and work for NASA or the National Weather Service.
Experience
As a college student, I see weaknesses in science and math and I saw it as an opportunity. As an undergraduate, I have tutored students from chemistry to calculus. I have helped students from 3rd graders to college students.
Approach
As a student who has experienced struggles along the way, I found a way to really understand the needs of each student. As a tutor, I attempt to learn the study strategies and behaviors of students. From then, I develop a custom plan for each student to help them to succeed. I try to teach the concept of each section, therefore if you understand the concept and the goal, the student will retain the information.
