Fun Facts

One passion I have is singing opera, I learned I loved singing opera music when I was a freshman in highschool. I sang for the All High School Chorus, which is a program where a select number of students from all over New York sing together and perform. I also enjoy reading books about psychology and playing the flute. I learned to play the flute when i was in elementary school and still play to this day.

About Me

I am a Junior in college, my passion for helping others is what led me to major in chemistry and be on the pre-med track. I hope to be a Pediatric ophtomologist. Although I am not yet a doctor I plan to help others with my current skills, through tutoring. For the past 5 years I have spent helping others through tutoring and community service.

Experience

When i was in high school i discovered my love for teaching/tutoring. I Taught telemetry school student Spanish. From that moment on I knew i wanted to keep helping others through tutoring. When i started college volunteered helping students with their homework inmate, reading, and writing. My students were so appreciative of the help and I could see how happy they were to finally understand something they thought was hard. I then taught chess to children in multiple schools throughout NY.

Approach

I know that each child is different. Through learning each individual child I know how to best help them learn a subject and make it easy. As a child I struggled inmate so I understand a students frustration when it comes to trying to overcome a subject that may seem hard.
