About Me

I am currently working as a merchander for a company called Core Mark. I go to Giant Gas stations and order products for their stores. I am also trying to go back to school to get my Bachelor’s in History! History has always been one of my favorites subject. I am hoping to become a history teacher. For a year I was a literacy tutor at a local elementary school. I would help the teacher with her class. Then when there were put into groups I would help or tutor them with the literary assignments. My tutoring approach is to have one on one time. Either if it’s in person or online. Communication is key , so then everyone is on the same page. I am also believe in taking notes, notes will get you a long way!

Experience

I was a Literacy tutor for one semester and it was so much fun! I was a literacy tutor for a third grade classroom. I got paid biweekly with that job. Then I was also a note taker for the local community college. I would go into the classroom and take notes for students that have an disability.

Approach

When I was a child in school I felt like I was not give all the resources. As I got order I was given those resources. I want to be able to make a differences to for a student’s life. I want to be that resource for that student that needs my help.
