Music: Studied piano and violin since age 5. Played in a band (Rolling Bagels) and youth symphony.
Sports: Running, skiing, tennis and paddle boarding. Avid sports fan including Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Bucs!
Cinematography: Video editing and worked on locally broadcast T.V. show.
Travel: Backpacked with brother through Europe, family trips including Costa Rica, Israel, South America and across U.S.
About Me
I am a 4th year medical student at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I grew up in Florida and I earned my bachelors degree in biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
My goal is to become an academic physician, with teaching playing a role in my job. Next year I will be starting my residency training.
Experience
I have experience philadelphia">tutoring students since 2009 and I have worked for a professional philadelphia">tutoring company in the past. I went to a math and science high school and I majored in biology in college with a minor in business administration. I have furthered my knowledge of science during my current studies as a medical school student.
Approach
I am professional, energetic, and love to teach. My philosophy with teaching is to to have students understand basic concepts so there is a solid foundation for learning. I try to make things fun and interesting

I have experience tutoring middle school students in math and English. This was back in 2009 when I worked for a tutoring company in Gainesville, Fl. I am also able to help with various homework assignments related to other subject areas and organizational skills. At the high school level, I have tutored biology in the past. I was a biology major in college and I have also taken the MCAT, which includes a biological sciences section prior to my entrance into medical school.
