Fun Facts
I love dancing and singing, I just cannot help me, they are part of me already. I have been dancing since I was 6 years old. I always have to try a new step or search for the lyrics of a new song to change it to what I would like to listen to.
About Me
I am in my senior year in nursing, but I took pre-med classes because I am planning to go to medical school after I graduate from nursing school. My goal is to be accepted into Stanford medical school in 2020 to become one of the best cardiologists. I have always been a brilliant student, and I like to challenge myself.
Experience
I am the oldest of a family of 6. Teaching has always been part of me because coming from a third world country, my parents did not have the means to pay for a tutor when my siblings needed it. I had to teach myself and teach my siblings. My brothers are not the only people I was teaching; I also helped a lot of kids or people from my class every time I had a chance to.
Approach
I used to memorize a lot of things, and then I realized it was not going to help me in the long term, so I started to try to understand what I was doing by trying things myself and make sure I understood the formula for example. I realized that no matter how the question was asked I always had the right answer because I understood the concept, the formula. This is what I am going to use with the people I am going to teach, I am going to find a way to make them understand what they are doing.
