Teaching in my passion! I know that all students can learn, I just have to figure out the ways to reach them where the learning does take place and it is fun for them. I like to teach them in such a passion that it forces them to think critically. I love children. I am a mother first and a teacher second. I just moved to Houston, TX. from Little Rock, AR. in August 2013.

About Me

I love teaching students the skills they need to be successful and ultimately to prepare them for college. I have been teaching for the past 14 years. I like to teach them in such a fashion that it forces them to think critically. These are some of the words that I use when teaching students that also appear on The Texas State Exam for students and End of the Course Exams: trace, analyze, infer, evaluate, formulate, describe, support, explain, summarize compare, contrast, and predict. Research shows that these words help students to score higher on exams!
