I believe in the power of education to help people realize their goals. I have spent 24 years adjusting my goals and pursuing education to help me realize mine. I have gone to a top-10 undergraduate business school and obtained a degree in finance. I have spent a year living in Paris, France and Shenzhen, China. And I have attended a top-15 law school. I also love serving through teaching.

About Me

I attended the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin and obtained a degree in finance from the honors program. After graduating, I spent time taking fiction-writing classes and living in China where I tutored Chinese young adults in English. I then attended UT's law school for one semester, but have taken a leave of absence and am leveraging my finance degree to enter the field of consulting. I would love to help students realize their education goals through austin">tutoring.

As a member of the Undergraduate Business Council at the McCombs School of Business, I enjoyed mentoring younger students and guiding them through their decisions and school-related trials. Then, while living in China for six months, I tutored students in English and thoroughly enjoyed teaching my students and watching them grow. Acting as a austin">tutor for FrogTutor would allow me to exercise my love for teaching by helping students make the most of whatever education they're pursuing.

In my opinion, learning takes place in the furnace of curiosity. I believe that motivation and a positive attitude underpin the strongest approaches to learning. When I was in law school, it was common for professors to inspire such curiosity within students that the students rushed out of the classroom to answer the questions the professor had raised. I will help my students realize what questions matter, and I will encourage them as they answer them. It is crucial that they become independent learners who can get excited about what they're learning. I will do everything I can to foster a learning spirit within my students, while also teaching them the skills necessary to answer questions or solve problems effectively. I will also affirm them and grant them positive feedback along the way.
