I love learning new things, no matter if I end up being completely terrible at it. It's good to explore and gain experience in different aspects. I love attending concerts and seeing my favorite performers live.

About Me

I'm currently a student at Miami-Dade College and will be transferring to the University of South Florida in August to complete my B.A in Psychology minoring in women and gender studies. I want to be able to help children in every aspect academically, socially, and mentally because I know they need someone to look up to and talk to when times are rough.

Experience

I currently tutor children in 1st grade - 6th grade in math, reading comprehension, and language arts.

Approach

Growing up, I always found a way to learn something new. I never really liked to ask questions because I thought it would be embarrassing or the teacher wouldn't give me the help that I wanted. I encourage my students to ask for help no matter what it is. Don't be ashamed because everyone understands things differently. I also take my time with students because I see that when you aren't patient with them, that causes them no to be motivated to learn.
