I am a Chemistry major and I love to dance. I wanted to become a dancer but became a chemistry major, by choice. I still dance and also teach dance during summer break. Learning and teaching chemistry is my all time favorite thing.

About Me

I am a Chemistry major at Cal State LA, and will be graduating in Spring 2019. Besides that, I have been doing research for 2 years and working as a science tutor at University tutorial center at Cal State LA. I will be starting pharmacy school from Fall 2019.

Experience

I have been tutoring at California State University Los Angeles for a year. I am a certified Level 1 tutor by CRLA, and soon will be getting Level 2 and 3 certifications. I have been a research student for more than 2 years and have completed 3 research projects. My first research was approved by all faculty members at CSULA and has been replaced the old labs and being taught in all general chemistry lab.I have also been teaching chemistry labs as a teaching assistant for a year.

Approach

When I was a kid I had hard time to understand the simple contents. I realized that no teacher could help me and I developed my own teaching skills and taught to my self. When I started teaching myself I became more exposed to the subject. When I started working as a tutor I came across many students who were struggling as I was as kid. I understand their problem and I get where exactly they are stuck soI help them as I was teaching my self.
