About Me
Hello, I attended the St. Johns college of liberal arts ( which is considered one of the most rigorous schools in the united states) where I studied all of the great books ranging from history to the social sciences and philosophy. I also have lots of experience in theory and ideology.
Experience
I volunteered in Borno to teach young women after the terror attacks by Bocko Haram. The terror attacks discouraged these young women from going to school and pursuing an education. I thought them English, French, social studies and Greek. I love teaching and tutoring and I love to mold the minds of tomorrow's leaders. While I was the public relations assistant at a company I worked for, I taught my bosses children ages 6, 12 and 18 respective
Approach
As a child, I found that what I lacked in learning was the comfort in learning with a new tutor so before I get into tutoring, I get to know the child. I ask what makes he/she comfortable and I begin to observe what he or she learning the language is. I celebrate every micro victory in the child's learning process! Children and young people love encouragement and if it isn't there, it discourages them.
