I average As on all writing assignments in all disciplines. Much of my time is spent working on writing assignments, essays, response to literature, and research reports. I peer edit my colleagues' essays and reports in all subjects.

AP History Tutoring

History can be boring but with an interesting story behind the time, always helped me memorize important dates and names. The history teachers that I learned best from were the ones that added humor and application to the student's contemporary lives. As an AVID student, I found that the Socratic style of learning is helpful for history, speech and debate, writing, and critical thinking skills as well.

I am currently working on my 5th year of an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Ecology. Physics Tutoring

I completed two physics courses in my undergraduate career and am currently enrolled in another as an elective. If I did not already choose Biology as my major, I would have picked physics. I find a lot of fun and excitement in these courses because the structure was not lecture based but group work based. I spent my studies in physics mostly through peer-teaching and group work.

Religion Tutoring

Religion and philosophy can be interrelated and can be better understood with culture as well. I have taken Anthropology and American Indian Studies. I also would like to eventually pursue a career in researching traditional medicine which is mostly found in religion and culture so I spend a lot of my pass time reading about these subjects.
