Adobe Photoshop Tutoring

I am currently the Social Media Coordinator for the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Major at CSULA. Through this job, I work heavily with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I have acquire many skills using these software now.

Education Tutoring

I am currently completing my Masters in Education at CSULA. I have taken 2 semesters worth of Education classes. I am now familiar with the subject and how studying/researching for this topic usually goes.

English Tutoring

I completed my Bachelors of Arts in English. I studied English in a college level. I am very familiar with writing essays and analyzing literature. I have tutored other college students on their Final papers at UC Riverside.

Graduate Level Writing Tutoring

I am currently a Graduate student studying Education. I do a lot of research and write many research papers. I believe that I can assist students in their writing in Graduate level as well.

Literature Tutoring

One of my favorite subjects is Literature. I absolutely enjoyed reading and analyzing literature during my Undergrad. I have learned that there is an art to writing and studying about literature and I feel I can be a great tutor in this subject.

Study Skills Tutoring

Study skills is definitely a skill. I believe it is developed through finding your own natural way of studying. I was able to figure out what works for me through the help of others and figuring out what I liked best. I would like to help other students see what process works uniquely for them by giving them the different tools that I was given.

I believe I can tutor in writing in a collegiate level. I studied English and tutoring in writing before. I was a part of the English Majors Association as well.

Algebra Tutoring

I served for City Year Los Angeles, it is an education nonprofit. Through this experience I tutored and created lesson plans on Algebra for High School students. I am also in the process of becoming a High School Math teacher in the future.

AP English Tutoring

I took AP English in High School. My love for this class brought me to study English in College. I passed the AP exam. I believe I can tutor in AP English because I have a good grasp on what the test takers are looking for. I have also gotten many years of practice studying English as well.

Homework Coach Tutoring

Through working with City Year, an educational nonprofit, I got hands on experience with students that needed Homework Help. I was a tutor for the After School Program at Manual Arts High School.

Math Tutoring

Although I studied English in college, I want to be a Math teacher in the High School Level in the future. I believe I can tutor in Math because I have experience tutoring High School students in all levels of Math from Algebra to Calculus.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

Through City Year, an educational nonprofit, I helped students achieve higher scores in their Algebra classes by making unique Pre-Algebra Lessons to help students who might have fallen behind. I believe I can tutor in Pre-Algebra because of this experience.

Microsoft Excel Tutoring

I use Microsoft Excel for my job currently to collect any data from students. I work as a Student Assistant for the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Cal State LA. I use Excel quite often and have mastered it.

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring

I use Microsoft PowerPoint for most of my presentations in Graduate School. I believe I can tutor students who are using PowerPoint of Prezi for their projects. I have mastered it through years of experience working on projects for school.

Microsoft Word Tutoring

I use Microsoft all the time, for any assignments, documents, etc. I have mastered Microsoft Word now and I believe I can tutor students who are still getting used to it. Microsoft is a kind of given software and I have been using it since I started school.
