About Me

I'm a senior at UNC-G majoring in Biology. Currently, I'm working as a medical scribe for an ophthalmology clinic. After college, I'm interested in pursuing careers at Duke or UNC working as a laboratory analyst.

Experience

During my sophomore year in college, I worked as a daycare teacher for a year. I taught the kids in my classroom on a daily basis. I've worked as a professional nanny as well, for over a year during my junior year. During my time as a nanny I worked with a child with special needs. I really love working with kids and I would consider myself a great teacher!

Approach

I really like making learning approachable and fun. I can easily think of different approaches when I'm studying with a group and trying to explain a concept to a classmate. I think patience is key when teaching and it's import to meet others where they're at while also pushing them to grow.
