Fun Facts
A fun fact about me is that I'm am an extremely active kid, who doesn't stop moving. Whatever I may be passionate about or interested in at the moment, I pursue it with my heart's desire. For me, this includes sports, nature, engineering, and music. I am a very happy person as I live freely and hope to spread joy through everyone around me. I love exploring new things and believe curiosity is one of the most important aspects of life.
About Me
After I graduated from Beaver Country Day school, I switched to Nashville where I am currently a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt University. I am a mechanical engineering major there and hope to graduate with a science/massachusetts/boston">computer science minor. These studies reflect my interests as I have been working on projects in these fields for a while now, hoping to start my own company one day. I hope to make make a difference in peoples' lives through inventions and new ideas that will problems.
Experience
Starting at a young age, I have been a counselor/coach at various camps and programs, learning how to teach children. I have tutored my sister throughout middle and high school, and it turned into a passion for educating people. I began to give private lessons for sports, which eventually turned into academic help. Last summer I became an ACT tutor only improving my ability to connect with students. All this experience has been and continues to be extremely beneficial for my teaching success.
Approach
I am an extremely positive and energetic person, which helps me to relate and connect with students extremely well. When I was young, I struggled with learning disabilities, realizing that the only way I could improve would be perseverance. I try to bring this combination of a great attitude and hard work into everything I do while passing it on to whoever I am with. Motivation and success come from within, making it even more important to approach things with a unique perspective.

SAT Math Tutoring
I have tutored SAT/ACT for multiple years now, and especially the math section. I received a 36 on the ACT math and although I never actually took the SAT, I know how to study and prepare for it.

I am extremely passionate about these subjects. After taking chemistry in high school, I took it as a freshman at Vanderbilt, one of the hardest courses at the school.
Computer Science Tutoring
I self-taught myself to code in high school and it has been one of the best decisions for me. I program in HTML, CSS, javascript, and java, and am familiar with c++ and python. I know what it is like to try to learn them.
ISEE Tutoring
I also took the ISEE long ago when trying to get into high schools, and know what the test consists of. I am very qualified to work with students and know a great deal about test prep.
