About Me
I am junior majoring in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. When i graduate, I plan to attend to medical school to become an internal medicine physician. Currently, I play for the WASHU Men's Tennis Team, and I also serve as a research assistant at the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory at Washington University Medical School.
Experience
I served as mathematics tutor for two years in my high. Upon entering college, I currently tutor General Chemistry and also serve as a coach for students with ages ranging from 7-50 years old how to play tennis.
Approach
I believe in the importance of teaching not only the content of the material that is given to the student, but also teaching the valuable study skills that are necessary to solve any difficult academic challenges. Thus, I will ask leading and guiding questions that will help the student to think of the answer him or herself. In addition, I will ensure time at the end of each tutoring session to ask any unanswered questions so that the student will be confident enough to ace his or her exam.
