About Me
I am a fourth year medical student at NYIT on Long Island. I currently live in Manhattan/Scarsdale for my clinical rotations in the hospitals. I am hoping to continue my medical education during residency in NYC or Philadelphia. My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Experience
I have four years of experience in college tutoring other students in mathematics (Biology, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus I, and business calculus). As a medical student, I have undergone intense human anatomy & physiology courses, and therefore I am prepared to tutor in these subjects as well. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to gain a better understanding of the subject, while helping someone else learn these subjects I enjoy!
Approach
From my experience tutoring, I've learned each individual has different needs and methods to learn best. I work to cater towards the methods that prove to help each student master the material the best, whether this is making flashcards, doing practice problems to master an approach, or simply walking through their lessons. My goal is to help students be confident in this subject, making a weak subject into a strength!

I took one of the first new MCAT sessions offered. I am currently enrolled in medical school at NYIT on Long Island. I have assisted other students unofficially in their MCAT studying.
Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I took and passed an intense anatomy course at my medical school, NYIT-COM. This included lectures and a lab component, in which we dissected cadavers. My medical education in the hospitals and in lecture also require me to further delve into the anatomy. My anatomy course was pass/fail. I have taken multiple physiology courses in medical school, and our medical boards (USMLE) have a large component of physiology. I am prepared to tutor in this subject, as I scored well on my boards.
