I love being creative. I like to crochet. I also love to read and write. One last thing: I love exploring and learning new languages and cultures! A fun fact about me is that I have recently taken up tap dancing and enjoy it very much. :)

About Me

I am born and raised raised in Brooklyn N.Y. I attended Teachers Preparatory School in Brownsville for highs school and was WNY bound when I attended Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY. I received my BA in English with a minor in History as well as my AA in Liberal Arts. I came back to NYC to help young children learn. I enjoy teaching teaching children and growing their minds as they realize their potential and worth.

Experience

I am a school teacher. I taught kindergarten, second, and third grade. I am well versed in common core and reading comprehension. I have differentiated children's learning. I have tutored before with a private tutoring center and I have tutored at my school throughout the school year. I specialize in phonetic development, reading fluency, and basic math skills.

Approach

My approach is to make learning fun. Make learning interactive. Give children different skills and strategies to maximize learning potential.
