Criminal Justice Tutoring

I have an AAS in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement in which I graduated Cum Laude. I also am a Senior Honors student in Criminal Justice now.

I have lots of experience teaching and tutoring criminal justice in a variety of classes at the college level through Buffalo State as I have been doing it for just over 6 months and am continuing to do so in the Fall.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring

I have taken a variety of Statistics classes at the college level including Statistics, Economics and Statistics, and Criminal Justice Statistics. I have received 4.0 or A's in all of these courses.

English Tutoring

I have taken many college English courses and done very well in all of them. English is a subject that I love as it comes very natural to me and is something I really enjoy doing and studying. I have a knack for the subject and do very well in all facets of English courses.

ESL Tutoring

I have grown up overseas and have taught ESL for much of my life. I have experience teaching it to international students overseas as well as doing so in the USA. I understand not only how to teach it but also what ways work well and I understand many cultures learning styles and approaches which makes it easier to be on the same page when tutoring for ESL.

French I Tutoring

I tested out of college second language courses since I have studied French in the past for 6 years. I have also travelled to France and have several close friends from France who don't speak English.

Languages have never come easy and so through learning the language myself, I have learned lots of ways to remember and learn the language.

Psychology Tutoring

I absolutely love psychology. I took advanced higher level psychology in high school and got an A in the courses. I have also taken several different psychology courses in College in which I have done very well. I find psychology fascinating and much of psychology is mixed in with Criminal Justice due to the direct relation to people.

Study Skills Tutoring

I have been teaching and tutoring for a very long time and especially since I started doing this at the College level- I have been trained in many different study skills and helping students figure out what works as well as having tons of materials and ways in which to approach studying. I have lots of materials and have not only been trained in study skills but have also used them in the college classroom when teaching.

Writing is a staple in school and therefore I have become very well versed. Due to my love for English and my constant writing for classes, I have lots of experience. I also as a tutor and teacher have been teaching others how to write well and have done a lot of editing for students.

I have taken Anatomy and Physiology and am EMS certified. I have learned and taken several courses that focus and look at A&P and am very comfortable with how it works. I also have lots of materials that help in learning the content needed for such a class.

I have taken Biology and ESS at the highschool level in an IB program and done very well. I have also taken Biology at the college level as well and done very well. I have helped others in my college classes with the content and find it very fun to learn about! There are tons of materials that help especially with Biology that I would love to share and teach!

I have been a teacher and a tutor for quite some time and through my training and staff development have learned many different skills, styles and techniques when it comes to school. I did extremely well in reading comprehension in all of my state tests as well as taking several advanced English classes in college. I have taught reading comprehension many times to both native english speakers as well as ESL so I have a range of ideas, skills and materials to use that will help!

I have taken many social studies related courses through my highschool and college career and have taken college level psychology, sociology, linguistics, law, anthropology, economics, history, communications, political science, EMS and health. I have done well in all these courses and absolutely love learning about them!
