Fun Facts
I am a certified scuba diver despite being super scared of water in the past, but since I stepped out of my comfort zone to learn how to swim, water became less scary and I enjoy going to pools and beaches now.
About Me
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a 7-12 Teaching Certificate from the University of Texas at Arlington. My life has always been revolving around teaching or tutoring, either students from the University or simply helping friends through a course.
Experience
I have been a tutor for the University of Texas at Arlington's Math Clinic for three out of four years attending the school. I tutored all math subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra all the way to High-level math such as Calculus 2, 3, Linear Algebra, etc. My degree also include classes on Education and teaching techniques. I enjoy spreading my love for math to others who do not necessarily like the subject, and Frog Tutoring allows me to do just that.
Approach
I set foot to America in 2010 without knowing a word of English, fortunately I met amazing teachers who absolutely demolished the language barrier and delivered above and beyond knowledge to me in both academics and life as an American. I was so grateful and decided when the time comes it will be my turn to give back to my students.

Mathematics
Calculus I Tutoring
As a math major I was required to take Calculus 1, completed the course with an A and frequently tutored it during my time at the University.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
Completed Calculus 2 with a B average, frequently tutored it during my studies at UTA as a Math major.
College Algebra Tutoring
I have a very good grasp of College Algebra, I was opted out of taking the course because my Math placement score was high.

I hold a B.S in Mathematics degree and am an experienced tutor at UTA for three out of the four years I attended school.

During my study to be a certified Math teacher, I've taught a few algebra classes.

I taught Geometry during the semester of Spring 2019 as a Student Teacher for my teaching certificate, so the resources are very fresh in my mind.

I was a Specialized Tutor for a Trigonometry class during my working days in the Math Clinic at UTA.
Conversational Vietnamese Tutoring
I was born and lived in Vietnam for 15 years before moving to the US. I am fluent in speaking, listening, reading, writing Vietnamese and understand the culture very well.
