Fun Facts

One passion of mine is traveling! I cannot get enough of it. This passion of mine stems from my parents. My parents immigrated from Poland in their early 20s so I grew up with avery polish background. As a child, I attended Polish school every Saturday and spent summers visiting my family in Poland. Once I reached high school, I broaden my location and travelled all over the US and Europe taking in the culture. In college, I studied a semester in Denmark immersing myself in their way of life.

About Me

I graduated from Stonehill College with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2016. Currently, I am finishing my masters in Medicinal Chemistry at MCPHS University in pursuit of working in the pharmaceutical industry in the future. In my undergraduate studies, I did research in organic chemistry synthesizing various sugar molecules. My research now encompasses protein expression. My ultimate goal is to work in drug discovery in Alzheimer's disease.

Experience

I have a lot of tutoring experience. In undergrad, I was a private tutor as well as a teacher assistant. I would mostly tutor students in General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I, II & lab, and Analytical Chemistry. As a master student, I am still familiar with the circulum and work/study ethic needed to do well in science course. I am also very flexible & easy to talk to.

Approach

As a child, I had difficulty with the subject English. I myself had a tutor. She was a terrific tutor, who taught me what makes an expectation tutor. I now bring those skills into practice. I believe it is important to really explain to the student the concept/material in full depths. I personally like you use props and stories to explain the material. I will share my study habits to the student so that they can succeed.
