While I'm a science major, my heart belongs to the arts. My biggest passion is dance. I've trained in Indian Classical and modern contemporary. In college, I started a Bollywood Dance Club. I'm a black belt in jiu-jit-su. I love reading books and watching movies.

About Me

I'm a senior Biology major. After graduation, I will start medical school at The Commonwealth Medical College in Pennsylvania. I inspire to become a surgeon.

I have been maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring peers since eight grade, first for PSSA's, then middle and high school coursework. In high school, my co-op was maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring for all four years. In college, I've been a student instructor for Biology and a teaching assistant for a Frontiers class in "Neurobiology and Buddhism."

In order to understand the material, it is important to understand the foundation of the material. I first make sure the student has a grasp of the "background material" before delving into the coursework. Then, I break up the coursework to explain to them, and try to understand where the roadblocks occur so that specific study strategies can be developed for the student.
