I am an avid reader, and I love science fiction. I also love going out to eat and trying new places and foods. I am a big fan of going to the movies and I am always excited about new films coming out. I also cook frequently and I dream of opening a breakfast spot or a diner when I retire.

About Me

I am a recently graduated physics major from Suffolk university where I graduated cum laude. I have conducted research on neutron radiation with the help of MGH and have presented my results at two different national physics conferences. I have an extensive background in chemistry and math and a passion for reading. I am currently applying for a masters in applied physics and in the future I hope to do research in either biophysics or physical chemistry.

Experience

As an undergrad, I was part of the executive board of both the American Chemical Society and Society of Physics Students chapters at Suffolk. I also conducted research in cooperation with the Massachusetts General Hospital. I participated in several science outreach programs at places such as the Boston Museum of Science and the Boston Children's Museum. There, I discovered an interest in teaching and the rewarding feeling of having taught which I want to grow by working for Frog Tutoring.

Approach

My passion for physics arose thanks to my high school teacher who put in extra hours to help me with the subject after seeing I was struggling a lot with it. Having had someone to guide me and help me understand a subject I would ultimately fall in love with, not only helped me improve my grades but also sparked my natural curiosity. As a tutor I hope to bring a comprehensive and understanding approach that not only will help students learn, but will also make them fall in love with learning.
