Fun Facts

Probably the main thing that people take away after meeting me is how curious of a person I am. I love getting to know every person I meet and taking away at least one thing I can learn from. I'm a huge soccer fan and always dedicate time every day to catch up on Real Madrid news! One of my biggest hobbies is actually photography, there's nothing more I love than spending time walking around the city and capturing all the amazing things life has to offer.

About Me

I am currently a senior at American University, I major in Economics with a minor in Communications. I plan on going to on graduate school and hopefully living in huge city with a beach near by in the future. I am a diligent student and if you can't find me, I'll probably be in the basement of the library studying!

All through out high school, as a member of 3 different honor societies we were required to washington-dc">tutor students in a variety of subjects for 10 hours a week. This taught me a new approach to studying considering I had to be able to speak with my peers in a way that they took me seriously and also learned. In college, I worked with DC Reads which helps inner-city students with English and other core classes.

When I was in school, especially as a young student, I had a hard time paying attention and learning in a typical way. I had to figure out a system of learning that worked specifically for me which I like to apply to the students I am helping. It's important to create an extremely calm and stress environment for students to learn in and I am an avid believer in positive enforcement. It's also important to make sure that the student is able to understand the material regardless of my presence.
