I love music and art. I spend a large amount of my freetime on ABleton Live recording guitar, piano, voice, or making beats. I have never been out of the country, though I hope I someday get to explore other places and cultures.

I'm a senior at Portland State University. Over 20 years with music experience. 4.0 in business classes. Strong grasp on math and English. I love learning and teaching others, particularly giving others the skills and knowledge they need to accomplish their goals.

Experience

Former member of PYCO and Portland Symphonic Boys Choir. Taken piano, guitar, and drum lessons. over 15 years working in DAWs.

Approach

To me, the key to teaching is finding out what interests the student and trying to tie their interests to the lessons at hand. I find that this often creates a scenario where the student begins exploring on their own, which often leads them to discover things beyond the lesson. It also inspires them to learn on their own.
