About Me

Hi, my name is Matt.

I am a junior attending the portland">University of Portland. I am currently a double business major with a german minor. Grew up in Denver, Colorado but have lived in washington/vancouver">Vancouver, Washington for the past eight years.

Throughout high school I was a portland">tutor through the National Honors Society, specializing in all ranges of math, german studies, some sciences, and writing. Normally during portland">tutoring, the first session is more of a test or evaluation to see where you are at among the course. From there I am able to create a lesson guide and plan from which we can work together to help improve the parts of the course that you may be weak upon already and the next steps after so as to increase you understanding and proficiency of the materials.

There are several types of ways to learn, through seeing, writing, and hearing and as each person learns in a different way I try to elaborate on each of the types. This ensures the best possible way to learning. Lastly learning and being tutored can be somewhat of a drag, learning the materials is important but doing it in a fun and efficient manner is equally as important too. Let's learn but let's rememebr to enjoy it while we do.
