Fun Facts

I love hiking and camping! I grew up in a family where all our family vacations revolved around traveling to National Parks for a week. I also have developed a love for travel. I studied abroad in Prague a few years ago and had a chance to travel all around Europe. My next goal is to explore Southeast Asia!

About Me

I graduated cum laude from maryland">University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology in May of 2018. I currently work as a medical assistant at a primary care practice as I prepare to start a Physician Assistant Master's program in a year.

Experience

I have tutored a variety of subjects for students of all ages (from elementary to college level). During undergrad, I tutored college students in Biology, as well as taught the laboratory portion of Anatomy in Physiology I for a group of 25 students. I currently tutor a 1st grader in Math.

Approach

All of my favorite teachers were ones that were passionate about their subject and provided an encouraging atmosphere, so I try to tutor by that same example. It is my goal to inspire the students I teach, even in subjects that may not be their favorite!
