Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I know up to 12 different languages. I am fluent in in five languages (French, English, and three native dialects). The remaining seven are different native dialects I can understand but can't speak. I am from the Republic of Congo, not Zaire and I am the youngest of seven.

About Me

I am completing my Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Ohio State University. I took a few years off school to assist my parents, particularly my mother who was diagnosed with liver cancer seven years ago and still going strong.

Experience

I was the professor's assistant for all french levels in both High School, and seldom tutor a few students from my school. I was also a tutor for precalculus in my High School, as well as my local community college.

Approach

Moving the United States from Congo was a very challenging experience for me. Transitioning from a french speaking country to American English proved impossible at first. However, with the support of high school teachers, I learned the language within months. Given my advance education from Congo, I was not very academically challenged in High School, therefore I used my spare tutoring other students and assistant my professors in French Class, as well as various science courses.
