Fun Facts

I enjoy playing video games, especially any of the Final Fantasy series (with the exception of FF13; I was not a fan!). I love reading, and am a huge Star Trek: The Next Generation fan. I am also a professional vocalist; I am classically trained in voice and love to sing anywhere and everywhere!

About Me

I am currently a Junior at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University, majoring in French. I currently have a 3.67 GPA and am a member of the Tau Sigma Honor Society. I will graduate in Fall of 2015 with a BA in French and am planning on receiving my MAT. My professional goal is to teach French at the University level.

My maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring experience has been informal. I am a single parent, so I often assist my daughter with her assignments and answer any questions she may have. Additionally, I often give her extra assignments to challenge her. I hold her accountable for writing and assist her with writing structure and style. I am also instructing her in music and beginning French.

As a child, I was often bored in school. I always did well in my classes, having graduated in the top 20% of my high school class. I often sought out additional work in order to solidify the materials I had learned. My approach to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring is similar; I look to challenge the student to do well and think outside the box. The student will always feel secure and will develop the confidence needed to master a foreign language.
