Fun Facts
I love scuba diving and am certified as a professional divemaster. I also have a passion for golf and went to school for golf course management. I'm an Eagle Scout. And I am very passionate about working with kids whether it's through diving, golf clinics, or just acting as a mentor. I am fun, energetic, and I like to think I have a good sense of humor.
About Me
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a degree in Golf Enterprise Management. I am working at becoming a certified Golf Professional and have worked at 3 of the top 30 golf courses in the nation. I'm proud to say I love what I do and work hard at anything I set my mind to.
Experience
I was a part of the Gifted Academy in Rockford, Illinois which is an accelerated educational program for students that want a higher level of learning. I took classes like AP Statistics and AP Calculus by the time I was a Junior in high school. I was privileged to tutor kids during lunchtime that were struggling with math and science. Our school focused very much on the ACT and I am proud to say I achieved a 32 overall score with a 34 in math. That enabled me to tutor kids in need along the way.
Approach
I know from experience that every kid is different and they learn and absorb information in many ways. I like to utilize the EDGE method (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, & Enable) which gives students the highest chance of not only learning the material but retaining that knowledge down the road. I'm a visual learner while some students on the other hand are auditory learners and need to hear rather than see. I tutor based on each student's abilities and go from there.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring
I took AP statistics in high school and scored a 3 on the Advanced Placement test. I know the subject well and can teach beginners as well as advanced students
Math Tutoring
I scored a 34 on the math portion of my ACT and was in the top percentile for where I tested at. I am more than adequate when it comes to mentoring students in math.

Physics Advance Tutoring
I took AP Physics C during high school which is the highest possible level of Physics you can take and received a B in the class. I know each area of Physics well and can tutor students that want a general knowledge base as well as advanced learners.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I scored a 34 on the math portion of my ACT and was in the top percentile for how I tested. I took AP Calculus in high school as well as college. It is one of my favorite subjects I learned and also one of my favorite subjects to teach
Trigonometry Tutoring
I scored a 34 on the math portion of my ACT and was in the top percentile for where I tested at. I am more than adequate when it comes to mentoring students in math especially trigonometry as it's one of my strong suits.
Geometry Tutoring
I scored a 34 on the math portion of my ACT and was in the top percentile for where I tested at. I am more than adequate when it comes to mentoring students in math. Geometry is my favorite subject!

I scored a 34 on the math portion of my ACT and was in the top percentile for where I tested at. My high school focused on solely ACT/SAT prep so I would say I am more than adequate when it comes to mentoring students for these types of tests.

I scored a 29 on the Science portion of my ACT which was considered the 96th percentile. I absolutely love science including all of it's subject areas. I've taking every type of science class you can take including but not limited to earth science, biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science, and much more.
