Fun Facts

Quite a bit to say here, but I'll keep it short. I love playing the guitar and making cover songs of the popular hits. I enjoy visiting the gym despite never reaching a muscular physique. I am the youngest of four, and by far the most studious of the bunch. I am also the only one in the family who didn't pursue an engineering degree. I also love to spend and excessive amount of time on Wikipedia reading scientific literature.

About Me

I am a University of Florida honor graduate with a 3.77 GPA. I have been on the Dean's list numerous times in consecutive semesters. I am preparing to take the MCAT within few months. My ultimate goal is to perhaps one day attain a MD/PhD degree.

Experience

Finishing up at the top percentile of undergraduate classes, I had the privilege to become the class tutor for Organic Chemistry and biochemistry in subsequent semesters. I held discussion courses where large groups of students attended to review pertaining course material. Working at Frog Tutoring will give me the opportunity to continue reviewing what I love to my fellow students who are just as eager to learn science as me.

Approach

Albert Einstein once said "if you cant explain to a six year old, you haven't learned yourself." This is the principal strategy I use in breaking down the subjects I tutor to students. I make sure the concept are broken down to a point where understanding it is effortless. I am also an effective communicator making sure the language I use is as easy to understand as it sounds. I am currently preparing for the MCAT so the pertaining subjects I plan to teach are still fresh in my mind.
