Fun Facts

I am passionate about children, whatever time I do get I like to either spend babysitting or tutoring. I also enjoy listening to music, trying new coffee shops, shopping, or hanging out with friends. Most importantly, I like staying busy and occupied with things/activities that make me happy.

About Me

I am a senior Early childhood education major at Georgia State University. I graduate in December 2020 with a bachelor's degree. I've been on the Dean's list throughout my associate degree and part of the Bachelor degree. Last semester, I made it to the Presidents list where I have been wanting to make it. I hope to continue at Georgia state university to earn my Masters in Educational Psychology. I also have a Montessori diploma for the primary age group (3-6 year-olds).

Experience

In Pakistan (hometown), I had a chance to teach at a Kindergarten school during summer. Also, during the Montessori diploma completed a few hours at a Montessori school. After coming here, for 6 months taught at a private Montessori school in the Buckhead area and then started school at Georgia state university. Throughout my time at Georgia state university, I worked at a Primrose School and discontinued in 2019 July to only focus in school for the last year of school.

Approach

Throughout my 12 years of schooling, I got the education but never the support that I wished i would get from my teachers. I wish to be present for the young souls academically and emotionally. As an educator, I want to make a difference in the vision of the students towards school, education, and life. I want them to succeed not only for test scores but for themselves as well.
