Fun facts about me: I ABSOLUTELY love the beach, being with friends and family. I enjoy watching the yankees and my favorite color is pink. I love to go shopping, traveling to new places and babysitting in my free time. I am also in the process of planning my wedding.

About Me

I am a Child Studies graduate from Post University. My area of concentration was child growth and development. I am in strong elementary math and reading comprehension and science. I currently work with children with special needs, social/emotional disorders and autism. I also work with children who have behavioral issues. I enjoy teaching and making learning fun for young children who are learning to read or are practicing new sight words for the first time.

Experience

Growing up I had my own academic struggles with some subjects in elementary school, so I know it can be frustrating. While doing my internship and summer work I had experience tutoring children in spelling, math and reading. It made me feel good to know that I was able to help children in a way to succeed for the future.

Approach

In my elementary years, I had one teacher who was always there for me to give me that extra push that i needed to move forward. When I had no confidence in myself I was able to count on my teacher to help me build my confidence. I think it's important for students to have a good foundation in order to become successful in life.
